Webinar – Introduction to Government Funding

Tuesday, May 21 | 11 AM - 12 PM

Did you know that government funding accounts for 30% of the revenue earned by nonprofits in the United States? Also, philanthropic contributions only account for 9% of revenue; therefore, government funding is a great growth opportunity for many nonprofit organizations. Applying for government funding can often be intimidating, and even the instruction documents can be confusing if you don’t speak the government contracting. This webinar will give you an overview of government grants, share strategies for researching funding opportunities, and highlight the different types of grants and contractions the government gives. In addition, we will also cover the various reporting requirements and budgeting guidelines.
