Wednesday, May 15 | 9 AM - 12 PM

North Texas Nonprofit Institute                            700 Highlander Blvd, #205, Arlington TX 76015

Agencies talk about how they are trauma informed or are working towards being trauma informed. But do you know what it means to be trauma informed and have a Trauma Informed agency? Are you and your team feeling burned out to the point where it’s impacting the quality of services delivered? Is self-care a buzz phrase within your agency or is it something your employees are encouraged to practice? If any of these ideas or concerns resonated with you, this workshop is for you! In this workshop we will cover the basic concepts of trauma, what it looks like in your clients, what it means to be a trauma informed agency, and how to prevent burnout. A combination of presentation, conversation and interactive activities will provide you with the knowledge to implement these skills into all levels of operations at your agency.
